Safety is our top priority.  Worker and jobsite safety are regularly reviewed.

Objectives

Safety objectives are constantly being reviewed and updated.

· A safety plan is in place and regularly reviewed by management.

· Regular Safety Meetings are held with workers to ensure they are aware of hazards on the job.

· Safety equipment is stocked on each vehicle and jobsite so that each worker has the proper safety equipment.

· Caution tape, cones and hazard barriers are installed to protect public areas.

Quality Support

Quality Control is one of our primary objectives.  We constantly evaluate the quality of the work performed to ensure the job is being performed correctly.

Objectives

The Quality Control Manager assigned to each job is focused on doing the job correctly and efficiently, with a minimum of downtime.

· Constantly checks with workers to receive an update on work progress.

· Is able to make changes and adapt to unique changes on the jobsite.

· Communicates with clients regularly to discuss the jobsite work.

· We follow all DNR Erosion Control measures, policies and procedures, for your protection, as well as ours.

Evaluation of jobs

Estimating job costs is done after a thorough review of the jobsite.  Pictures are often taken and estimates are developed from onsite review to ensure proper pricing is developed for each job.

Objectives

Our estimates are developed based on site visits and specifications.

· Potential jobs are visited in person and photographs may be taken.

· Estimates are submitted to the customer in writing.

· Jobsite problems that impact costs are immediately communicated to the customer.

Downtime

Downtime on the job is often a result of weather or conditions not readily apparent in the initial review.  We try to anticipate problems, but cannot always foresee downtime on jobs.

Objectives

We try to keep downtime to a minimum where possible.

· We constantly review weather conditions and adjust crews to finish ahead of bad weather.

· When jobsite conditions incur downtime we reevaluate the job and try to minimize the impact of the condition.

· Downtime that impacts cost is immediately communicated to the customer.

On-site safety meetings are held weekly on all projects.
